Sydney based double bassist and composer Max Alduca presents his debut album Monastery drawing inspiration from a personal journey through music and spirituality, reflecting themes of interconnectedness, trust, and hope, while also paying homage to his teachers and collaborators.

Daughter of the Seas is the debut album from Visions of Nar, a project from Armenian pianist Zela Margossian and Australian saxophonist Jeremy Rose, featuring the ancient sounds of tabla player Bobby Singh, electric soundscapes of guitarist Hilary Geddes and Kurdish percussionist Adem Yilmaz. The 11 original compositions are a kaleidoscopic ride through Armenian folk and jazz influences, with a nod to the fiery Armenian goddess of water, sea and rain, Nar.

Sydney based trumpeter-composer Ellen Kirkwood’s Underwards new release, Delve, draws inspiration from the ways in which humans experience nature, combining beauty, mystery, colour and rhythm. The project features talented emerging artists guitarist Hilary Geddes, bassist Nick Henderson and drummer Alex Inman-Hislop.
